Sim!! Não acredita que a pirataria possa ser amiga da natureza!!

Muita gente pode achar que este é um tipo de esperteza, que esta é uma forma de lutar contra o sistema ou que é uma questão de liberdade não pagar por um produto, mas, na grande maioria dos casos a pirataria é seguida pelo elevado preço do original. A Microsoft reduziu em 70% o preço do Office 2007 na China, a região com maior índice de pirataria.

As industria do cinema, da música e do software vivem protestando pelo alto grau de pirataria a que são submetidos. Mas nem sempre eles seguem a pauta de buscar um preço justo, pois o que eles tentam é suprir as perdas devido a pirataria descontando nos compradores.

A China é um dos países com maior índice de pirataria do planeta e a Microsoft sabe disso. Por isso a companhia resolveu reduzir o preço da sua suíte de aplicativos em cerca de 70% e agora o preço do Office 2007 Home and Student custa 29 dólares. Um preço redondo, menor e acessível.




Pirataria é crime... Original é roubo :S

Saramago e os novos inquisidores

Olá! este tb vai em português e espero que seja MUITO COMENTADO!! , o próximo convinha q fosse em inglês, vale?:-))

Estão a par da polémica, suponho .. há cerca de uma semana o escritor José Saramago (prémio Nobel da Literatura em 1998) foi a Penafiel apresentar o seu novo romance, Caim, fez umas declarações a propósito .. e (mais uma vez..) cai-lhe em cima 'o Carmo e a Trindade', que o mesmo é dizer: a igreja e um político, desta vez deputado ao Parlamento Europeu.

Pois então, se quiserem saber pormenores, podem:

a) visitar o vento que passa :-) , mas esse aí é muito tendencioso, são as minhas opiniões pessoais ..

e.. se estiverem interessados em saber de polémicas anteriormente geradas à volta de Saramago, é só pedirem, que eu conto.. :-))

You knew that malaria was already endemic in Portugal? I did not know, at least to have started work on the subject. Well, it seems incredible but true. Malaria was a major national disease up to 50 years. Over 40 to 50 thousand people were infected each year with the disease, many of whom perished. The impact of malaria was significant, especially in the interior and rural regions. The Sado River, parts of Braga, Coimbra, Aveiro, Évora and Faro, were the most affected regions. The poor suffered most were those with the disease. The cities affected were little.
The great fight against the disease took place from 30 years and especially in the 40's, when DDT was used to spray the areas most affected and when hundreds of thousands of tablets of quinine (and derivatives) were used in combat malaria. The strategy was so successful that the World Health Organization declared free of malaria Portugal in the late 50.
A success to be proud of and that shows that when we want, we made admirable. How excellent? Extremely admirable. The disease was already endemic in Portugal for millennia, has even been referenced by the poems of Gil Vicente.
Who says we do not do anything right?

Blue stonehenge

British researchers recently discovered a second ancient stone formation near the original mystical Stonehenge site that they are hailing, as the one of the most important prehistoric finds in years.
Located in the English county of Wiltshire, researchers unearthed the second Stonehenge monument at the end of a path connecting Stonehenge to the River Avon known as “The Avenue.”
The researchers discovered evidence of 27 stones in the new monument they have dubbed, “Bluehenge” in reference to the use of blue Welsh stones in the building of the ancient circle. The Bluehenge monument is smaller than the original Stonehenge circle, which is comprised of 56 large stones.
The researchers believe both monuments were built about the same time at around 2,000 BC and were used together, as either a prehistoric calendar or a place to worship ancient earth deities.
Researchers believe additional prehistoric circles and stone formations are beneath the earth, just waiting to be discovered in the English countryside.
